Recommended Dosage:
Humans -- Initial 60-day period: Adults under 200 pounds -- take 6 capsules daily (3 in the morning and 3 in the evening). Adults over 200 pounds -- take 8 capsules daily (4 in the morning and 4 in the evening).
After the initial 60-day period: Decrease the number of capsules taken per day to a level that maintains the individual. Reduction should be done in 1 to 2 capsule increments and should not be reduced more than once per month. The dose may be increased as needed.
Animals -- Cat & Dogs -- Initial 6-week period: Under 10 pounds -- 1/2 to 1 capsule daily 10 to 24 pounds -- 2 capsules daily (1 at morning and 1 at evening) 25 to 50 pounds -- 4 capsules daily (2 at morning and 2 at evening) over 50 pounds -- 6 capsules daily (3 at morning and 3 at evening)

Animals -- Horses (weighing approximately 1100 pounds)-- Initial 30-day period: 16 capsules daily (8 in the morning and 8 in the evening).
After the initial 30-day period: 8 capsules daily (4 in the morning and 4 in the evening).
Capsules may be pulled apart and mixed with horse's food insuring that the horse gets all of the dose.
Other animals may be treated as well -- just follow the guidelines above for the weight of the animal.
Intended Uses:
Chondroitin and glucosamine are components of cartilage and joints and are natural treatments for osteoarthritis. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of synovial fluid. Osteoarthritis is caused by the erosion of cartilage and the decrease of synovial fluid in the major joints of the body.
Begin supplementation immediately as joints that have eroded too far do not respond to nutritional therapy. They can be extremely painful and may, in extreme cases, result in surgical joint replacement. Supplementation after surgery is recommended in order to help the body re-establish successful binding and formation of cartilage.
Glucosamine is a naturally-occurring amino sugar. It is a protein that binds water with cartilage. Glucosamine absorbs water and nutrients thus acting as shock absorbers to the musculoskeletel system. When weights are applied the fluid in joint cartilage is pressed out and re-absorbed when the weight is released.

*Our Joint Therapy™ formula utilizes chondroitin sulfate that is obtained from beef trachea. We guarantee that our material comes from cattle that are grown within the United States and is processed and purified in the United States so that no material ever leaves the US. This is very important and the Food & Drug Administration has expressed concerns about chondroitin sulfate and its possible contamination with bovine spongiform encephalitis (BSE) or Mad Cow's disease. Most of the chondroitin sulfate that is out on the consumer market is obtained from US beef trachea that is sent to Europe for processing (where it is cheaper) and returned as chondroitin sulfate. The problem lies in that there is no guarantee that what was sent over is what is returned, nor that it was not contaminated by European beef, some of which have been shown to have BSE and Mad Cow's disease.
In addition, we formulate using glucosamine hydrochloride which has a much higher percentage of the "active ingredient" glucosamine, as opposed to products that use glucosamine sulfate, where the salt content can also be very high. This results in an increase of as much as 67% glucosamine (on a weight per weight comparison) when used as the hydrochloride.
The combination product we offer provides the maximum effectiveness for the relief of pain and the repair of cartilage. The small size of the capsules allow for easy consumption and variable dosage combinations to be followed for humans and animals, both during the "loading" and "maintenance" periods.
